SCENE 1 | Telly welcomes the viewer to Sesame Street while he waits for his best friend Baby Bear to return from his grandma's -- he hasn't seen him in a long time! Just then, Baby Bear sneaks up behind Telly and covers his eyes, and they reunite. Telly points out that Baby Bear's hair seems to be longer than usual. Baby Bear admits that his long hair is kind of bothersome, but when Telly suggests he get a haircut, Baby Bear declines, because he's never had a haircut before. His Papa Bear thinks he needs a haircut, too, and arrives looking for him, but Baby Bear ducks away. |
