Picture Segment Description

SCENE 1 Big Bird observes Maria, Gordon, and Bob going about their business in the yard. He hopes that soon, one of them will leave so he can talk about subtraction, but none of them have any plans to move yet. Instead, Big Bird imagines them subtracting themselves in outlandish ways (Maria leaving to swim across the Atlantic Ocean and Gordon catching the 3 o'clock rocket to Mars; Bob remains put.). When Big Bird snaps back to reality, he notices Maria and Gordon have gone and assumes his fantasy is what really happened, much to the confusion of Bob.
