SCENE 1 | Grundgetta leads a Grouch protest against the residents of Sesame Street, believing the locals never listen to what the Grouches want. "You keep right on being nice to us, giving us things, telling us 'Have a nice day' and stuff like that. We are fed up!" complains Grundgetta. Bob and David listen to their demands, which is not to give them stuff and be nice about it. They change their tune when they realize Bob and David had some rotten items to give them (old sneakers and burnt scrambled eggs covered in chocolate syrup) and tell them to have a rotten day. |
