SCENE 1 | Oscar agrees to watch the Fix-it Shop while Luis steps out for a few minutes. Before Luis leaves, Oscar answers the phone twice and is rude to both customers. Luis reprimands him for his behavior, saying it'll ruin his business if he's not nice and polite to the customers. After Luis exits, an old Anything Muppet man (Jerry Nelson) brings his cuckoo clock into the shop. He tells Oscar about how much he enjoys hearing the cuckoo come out to tell the time. Oscar proceeds to treat the man respectfully, and is so satisfied with his work he decides to fix the clock himself. Luis comes back, and sees that Oscar has "improved" the clock by replacing the cuckoo bird with a grouchy one (Nelson). |
