Connie Peterson (occasionally credited as Constance Peterson) served as the Build Supervisor of the New York unit of Jim Henson's Creature Shop through 2024. Prior to that position, she was the Supervisor of the Costume department in the New York Muppet Workshop. Among her accomplishments are puppet costumes as well as design and execution of the large arena show characters and the walk-arounds for other Henson and Sesame Workshop productions.
Peterson is an Emmy Award winner for her work on Sesame Street.
Outside of Henson, Peterson has also designed for theatrical productions, including the Broadway productions of My Fair Lady, Fiddler on the Roof, A Chorus Line, and Chicago. Other credits include Saturday Night Live and the 2013 film adaptation of The Great Gatsby.
