Chef John is a tough-looking gray monster chef who appeared in the Monsterpiece Theater segment "Conservations with My Father."
Wielding a rolling pin, the chef and a group of other monsters catch Cookie Monster and his father in the act of eating the cookies they were saving, and they proceed to chase them around the kitchen and onto the Monsterpiece Theater set.
