The Captain is a seafaring man in command of a ship in the Sesame Street song "Imagine That." A figure in Ernie's fervent imagination, the captain asks Ernie to take command during a massive gale. While Ernie is clad in a more contemporary fishing trawler outfit of slicker and rain hat, the captain and other crew members more closely resemble the romantic notion of 18th century buccaneers.
