When Luis recalls the first time he set foot on Sesame Street in Episode 0300, he remembers being overlooked by a busy Mr. Hooper, and a less than friendly greeting from Oscar the Grouch, but notes that Antonio was the first to reach out and be friendly to him.
Antonio's birthday is celebrated Episode 0333 where his neighbors throw him a fiesta in the yard with Mexican food, a piñata, and a mariachi band.
