Appearance
The Hot-Ra resembles a dragster type vehicle with ancient Egyptian motifs. Most notably, it features a red and gold stylized snake head on the front, concealing a smaller front wheel, a small exhaust port in the middle of the vehicle, and a gold and blue stripped "Nemes"-like pattern around the dome of the car. It also features golden spoilers on the back, stylized after wings, with a red scarab beetle orb in the middle and a finned missile on each end of the spoiler. On the back, two larger wheels sport a red and blue cross design in their hubcaps and the Hot-Ra also features three blue fin like protrusions on its sides. Lastly, on the rear of the vehicle there's a large red jet engine exhaust.
History
Powers and Abilities
The Hot-Ra hides a number of secrets and weapons under its hood. Apart from its great speed and durability, the Hot-Ra can fire laser beams from its headlights. It can also extend its front portion, pushing or ramming through anything in its path with great force. It can also fire two missiles from its spoilers, and the spoilers themselves can also act as a glider that is sub-tractable and re-attachable to the vehicle. The Hot-Ra is also both solar energy and gas-powered.

Trivia
- According to Seth Kearsley, Hasbro came up with the idea of the Hot-Ra for merchandising purposes after rejecting his idea for the Nileator to transform into different vehicles other than a boat.
- Despite the Hot-Ra being solar-powered, in "Tree O'Clock Rock", Armon is showed pumping the Hot-Ra full of gas.
- This would suggest that it is a hybrid vehicle.
- The Hot-Ra's name is likely a play on the vehicle term "hot rod".
- Presumably due to the patterns and colors present on it, the Hot-Ra has been mistaken for the royal chariot by Apep and the Desert Princes.
- It is presumed that the Hot-Ra was created using parts of the Stone Express Truck the Mummies commandeered in the first episode, as it was first seen in the second episode with no mention of what happened to the truck.
