Sidisi is a treacherous naga from Tarkir. She epitomizes the decadent and merciless nature of the Sultai Brood.

Original timeline

As the khan, Sidisi considered herself to be the queen of the Sultai and aimed to gather all the clans under her banner.[1] Her allegiance with the Rakshasa provided her with incredible necromantic powers.

Alternate timeline

In the new timeline, however, Sidisi never became Khan and she was reduced to one of Silumgar's undead slaves. However, with her unmatched necromantic powers, she was the only thing keeping the rest of the naga in any position of influence. Her ability to threaten, sway, and remove other politicians kept Sidisi as vizier at Silumgar's side, whispering tales to the dragon — some to lull and some to disturb.[2][3] In the space where her heart had been in life, she ferments a mixture of Tarkir's most potent poisons, hoping to someday fatally poison the venom-breathing dragon.

Dragonstorm

In the aftermath of the invasion of New Phyrexia, rebellion rose against the dragonlords. The rebels among the Silumgar, however, chose to not reform the old Sultai, instead looking to recreate the Sultai as they had been before their pacts with the rakshasas.[4]

Wanting to have nothing to do with such, Sidisi remained loyal to Silumgar and fled into the swamps when Qarsi Palace was breached, unwilling to submit to the new Clan.[5] Within the swamps, she plots her return to power and a restoration of the Silumgar Clan, entering an alliance with the Rakshasa to spread death and pestilence among the new Sultai.[6]
