Rhindle was a legendary scaled wurm of Fyndhorn during the Ice Age.
Description
Rhindle was a massive scaled wurm living in Fyndhorn, threatening the city of Jornstad on the border of the forest. His head was sleek and dragonlike, and his blue scales glistened in the gently falling snow. The massive creature's eyes were pinpoints of fiery orange and spoke volumes about his ferocity.[1]
History
During one confrontation right on the edge of Jornstad, Rhindle attacked Finroy, who was clad in the likeness of Lord Rothchild after a self-proclaimed hunt. Thinking their lord was in danger, the townsfolk attacked the wurm from all angles, until it retreated into the forest. Nobody was killed, though Finroy had suffered a broken thigh, and, as usual, Rothchild received all the credit, even though he was not even present at the battle.[1]
