Rachel Agnes

Rachel Agnes is Product Architect for Magic: The Gathering at Wizards of the Coast, since 2013.[1]

Career

She started as an Magic Esports Community Manager, and then applied for Brand Manager. She was chosen because of her educational credentials and her knowledge of the game. In October 2024, she became a Product Architect.[2]

Her favored formats are Vintage and Commander; she joined the Vintage Super League in its sixth season and competed until its conclusion in 2019. She also writes columns for ChannelFireball, mainly focusing on Commander.[3] In addition, in 2019 she became a member of the Advisory Group to the Commander Rules Committee. After Wizards of the Coast took over the management of the Commander format, she declined the invitation to become a member of the Commander Format Panel.
