Kamitaki (kah-mee-TAH-kee) is the center for blue mana on the plane of Kamigawa.
Description
Kamitaki means “waterfall of the kami”.[1]. The Kamitaki Falls are by far the highest and widest waterfalls on the plane, and are one of the largest and most spectacular natural features in all of Kamigawa. They form a horseshoe-shaped ridge that is over two thousand yards across at its widest point.[2]
The Yumegawa River, the longest flow of water on the entire plane, flows from distant lands and runs across the lip of the gorge, forming the five-hundred-foot high falls and Lake Kamitaki below them. All the water from the falls gathers into this single choppy and turbulent pool. Lake Kamitaki holds huge geysers shooting water back up into the air almost as high as the falls themselves.[2] The lake in turn feeds the Akagi River which runs across part of the Towabara Plains and into the Jukai forest. The great Yumegawa River also continues its course from the lake to the sea.
Perched on the falls themselves is Minamo, the wizard academy for humans, while Otawara floats in the clouds above the lake.
