The Dragonstorm Arc is the one-year storyline that follows the Omenpath Arc.[1] It is the second part of a three-year story arc codenamed Metronome.[2]
Description
The Dragonstorm Arc started in July 2024 and features the following sets: Bloomburrow, Duskmourn: House of Horror, Aetherdrift and Tarkir: Dragonstorm. After Ugin left Tarkir, dragonstorms on the plane have gone out-of-control.[3] In combination with newly formed Omenpaths this has resulted in Tarkir dragons appearing on other planes. In Bloomburrow, Dragonhawk, Fate's Tempest is a Kolaghan dragon that was transformed into a Bird through the plane's magic. Scorching Dragonfire depicts an odd scene where a dragon of ambiguous lineage burned down a forest, as recounted in Chapter 3 of the Duskmourn story.
While not containing story elements, Alchemy: Bloomburrow and Alchemy: Duskmourn are set within the Dragonstorm Arc.
Following the conclusion of the Dragonstorm Arc, the Metronome story arc continues with an as yet unnamed third one-year storyline.[2]
