Sung Ji Yeon (Hangul: 성지연), better known by her stage name Jane, is a South Korean singer under MLD Entertainment and currently a member of the girl group Momoland. She was born in Changwon, South Korea on December 20, 1997. Jane is the group's main dancer and lead vocalist.
History
Family and education
Jane has a younger sister. She attended Seoul Toseong Elementary School, and after that Poongnap Middle School. She also studied Practical Dance at Hanlim Arts High School.
Carrer
In 2016, she became a contestant on Mnet's reality survival show Finding Momoland. Chosen by the fans, she finished the competition in seventh place, thus becoming a member of the girl group Momoland. The group officially debuted on November 10, 2016 with their first mini album Welcome to Momoland.
Departure
She departed from MLD Entertainment following the expiration of her contract on January 27, 2023.[1]
