Yoo Jung Ahn (유정안), better known by her stage name Daisy, was born in Seoul(서울), South Korea on January 22, 1999. She is a South Korean singer, previously under MLD Entertainment. She was a member of the girl group Momoland and the group's main dancer and lead rapper.
History
Daisy is Canadian-Korean. She has a younger sister. She lived in Vancouver, Canada for 11 years. She graduated on Jamil High School on February 9, 2018. She was a former JYP trainee and almost joined SIXTEEN (survival show which formed TWICE), but left before the show began. Daisy wasn't supposed to be part of Momoland since she was eliminated in the show but later added on March 28, 2017.
Personal life
In February 2019, Daisy was rumoured to be dating iKON's Song. Although Song's company denied the claims, MLD Entertainment confirmed that the two had been seeing each other romantically for three months.
Since February 2019, Daisy has not promoted with Momoland. On November 29th, it was mentioned by MLD Entertainment that Daisy's contract was still being negotiated after the news had dropped that fellow members, Taeha and Yeonwoo, had left the group.
On January 7, 2020, KBS had an exclusive interview with Daisy on News 9. She revealed that Finding Momoland was rigged, stating the agency already planned to place her into the group despite being eliminated and that the chosen members had to pay for the production costs. She also explained that she has been in conflict with MLD after being prevented from promoting with the group since May 2019. When requesting to have her contract terminated, her agency demanded a 1.1 billion won penalty for breaking the contract. MLD Entertainment denied the claims stating that they were one-sided and have asked for an official apology from KBS.
On May 13, 2020, MLD Entertainment removed her profile photo from the artist page on their website, but the agency later confirmed that she still remains under the company.
On October 10, 2021, it was reported that the Seoul Central District Court had ruled in favor of Daisy and ordered MLD to pay 79.26 million won in unpaid earnings and another 13 million won not paid to her. The following day, it was revealed that MLD filed an appeal against Daisy.
On February 8, 2022, Daisy confirmed on her Instagram Q&A that she officially left MLD Entertainment following the termination of her contract. She also revealed that she hasn't spoken with the other MOMOLAND members since 2019.
