Brother Tide is the only son of Padra and Arran, nephew to Fingal, and brother to Swanfeather and Fionn. He is currently training under Brother Juniper to become a priest.
Personality
Tide is described as thoughtful and more sensible than his twin Swanfeather. He is said to be more like Padra than his uncle Fingal.
History
Urchin and the Heartstone
He is born to Captain Padra and Captain Lady Arran along with his twin sister, Swanfeather.
The Heir of Mistmantle
Tide is first seen sitting with his family and eating soup, and later while playing in the sea together with his sister while Fingal watches after them.
Urchin and the Raven War
Tide, now older, is put in charge of the food stores and helped to rescue Catkin before she drowned. He also helped with placing the nets to trap the ravens.
Urchin and the Rage Tide
Tide reveals that he is training to become a priest under Brother Juniper. After Crispin's death, Juniper is telling Catkin and Oakleaf that Tide is going to sit with them.
