"Copy Kaz" is the 19th episode in Season 1 of Mighty Med. It first aired on June 16, 2014.

Plot

Kaz and Oliver must study for a Mighty Med exam that will allow them to learn deeper secrets of Mighty Med, but if they fail, they will be cubed. Meanwhile, Wallace uses an optical image replicator to turn Clyde into an identical look-alike of Kaz. Clyde successfully follows Oliver into Mighty Med, but when he tries to steal the missing half of the Dyad of Nebulon, Horace senses something is amiss, and sends the guards after him just as the real Kaz walks back into Mighty Med. Horace catches a Kaz and thanks to Oliver, doesn't cube him, but erases his memory. The guards send out the Kaz, and the other Kaz appears. Oliver realizes that the Kaz talking to him is the real Kaz, and the other one was really a villain (he doesn't know it's Clyde). Horace explains that the other half of the dyad is with a villain named Catastrophe, who upon being defeated split into two humans (Wallace and Clyde). In the end, Kaz and Oliver pass their exam, and learn the secrets of Mighty Med.

Back at The Domain, Wallace is trying to recall Clyde's memory of Mighty Med, which was successfully wiped.

Meanwhile, when Alan comes to Skylar for advice on a girl he likes, she suspects it's her, and tries to dissuade him, only to learn it was a nurse who's also an octopus.

Trivia

  • It is revealed that Wallace and Clyde were once a single person/villain named Catastrophe.
  • We see what Incognito looks like when visible (He wheres a bluish-black jumpsuit and wears an eyepatch). The previous episode implies that he is British and-or posseses a British accent.
  • Copy Kaz is a spoof of the phrase 'Copy Cat'.
  • This is the second episode to have Kaz's name in the title, the first being All That Kaz.
  • This is the 1st episode to have a bleep. This is also the 1st time a bleep hurts a person's ears.
  • The "Can I talk to you about something personal?", "No", "Thanks" joke from Growing Pains returns.
