Result^[1], alternatively titled Results^[2], is a short track from Metroid: Other M.

Description

As the name implies, it is the theme that plays on the results screen of the game, as the player's item percentage is displayed. If it is 25% or above, Samus Aran will give varying congratulatory messages to the player here.

Result is a remix of a portion of the ending theme for Super Metroid, which also played as the game's item percentage was displayed. The original theme was composed by Kenji Yamamoto, while the new orchestrated version was done by Sachiko Miyano. The final fanfare of Movie Ending from Metroid: Samus Returns (by Daisuke Matsuoka) is also similar.

Result is included as the first track on the Samus Archives Sound Selection CD, which is packaged with the Special and Legacy Editions of Metroid: Samus Returns. Its track title differs slightly between the North American and European releases.
