Project M

This article is written from the Real Life point of view

Oh, absolutely, I think Project M did a great job. The game couldn’t have been made by any one of the individual companies, in my mind—from the incredible cinematics of D- Rockets to the action-packed fighting of Team Ninja to the unique Metroid level design of Nintendo, this really was a collaboration in the truest sense of the word. I can’t speak to what the future holds, but I’d certainly love to see similar efforts going forward.

Project M was the development effort to create Metroid: Other M. It was a mix of members from Team Ninja and Nintendo's R&D1, as well as the D-Rockets animation studio, Koei Tecmo and numerous other animation and motion capture companies, including Polygon Pictures. Combined, there were over 100 members on Project M.[2]

Project M has yet to create any more games after Other M, but Yoshio Sakamoto has said he would be willing to work with Team Ninja again.[3]
