NSamus shares all of Samus's physical properties and can use all of her Standard Attacks, Strong Attacks, and Air Attacks. However, NSamus cannot use her Special Attacks (Bombs, Charge Shot, and Screw Attack), Grab, or Throws. She is also much more susceptible to knockback, making her easily defeated, so her advantages lie in attacking in large numbers with other Fighting Polygons.

NSamus only appears in the penultimate stages of 1P Game. In Bonus Stage 3, three random Fighting Polygons appear to impede the player's progress in Race to the Finish. In Stage 10, the player character must face off against thirty members of the Fighting Polygon Team.

Trivia

• While NSamus and the rest of the Fighting Polygon Team has not appeared in later Super Smash Bros. games, other doppelgangers of Samus have appeared throughout the series, making NSamus the first of many copies. In Super Smash Bros. Brawl, Adventure Mode: The Subspace Emissary featured two Copied Power Suits in The Research Facility (Part II) and another imitator in The Great Maze. In Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, World of Light features many Samus Puppet Fighters possessed by Spirits.
• NSamus predates Samus Aran's canonical doppelgangers, SA-X and Dark Samus. This makes NSamus the first known antagonist of Samus in any media who copies her appearance and abilities.
