Fulmite[1] is a creature found in Ferenia on ZDR. Fulmites are grub-like enemies that crawl along the ground and in Morph Ball tunnels. If they spot Samus, they will release a glowing stone and scurry off. The stone explodes with a large radius, almost reminiscent of a Power Bomb, after beeping for a few seconds as warning.
After it detonates, the Fulmite will grow another bomb and repeat the attack if it sees Samus again. The bomb can be destroyed with five Wave Beam shots, or a Storm Missile barrage, and the Fulmite itself is just as weak. However, it poses a larger threat if Samus is in a tunnel and cannot immediately escape, and does not have Power Bombs.
