Boss Kraid is the battle theme of Kraid in Metroid Dread.
Description
Boss Kraid is divided into two phases. The first, titled Boss Kraid 001,[1] begins with an intense remix of the main theme of Cataris with a repeated pattern of three falling notes.
Boss Kraid 002[1] plays during the second phase of the battle, where Kraid has smashed the platform Samus was on during the first phase, making it harder for her to target his head but also exposing his infected, vulnerable stomach to her attacks. It has the same melody as the first theme but removes several instruments, reducing the intensity.

Kraid had a different theme for his appearance in Super Metroid, which was composed by Minako Hamano and later remixed for his appearance in Metroid: Zero Mission. In the original Metroid, the Tourian theme is used during the battle with Kraid.
