Matthew "Matt" Mercer (born Matthew Christopher Miller on June 28, 1982 in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida) is an American voice actor, writer, and director who has voiced several minor characters in the Metal Gear series.
Outside the Metal Gear series, Mercer has worked in various media, including anime, video games, cartoons, and radio commercials. Some of his better known roles includes Fei Long in the Street Fighter series (since Street Fighter IV), Edge Maverick and Klaus Bachtein in Star Ocean: The Last Hope, Leon S. Kennedy in Resident Evil: Damnation, Resident Evil 6, and Resident Evil: Vendetta, Anarky in Batman: Arkham Origins, and Ganondorf in the fan film There Will Be Brawl and The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.
Mercer is married to voice actress Marisha Ray.
