In 2018, Herbert led a unit composed of Slider-equipped cyborgs, RPG-soldiers, Mastiff UGs, and RPG soldiers to storm the main lobby of World Marshal Inc.'s HQ building, after Martin's unit was wiped out by Raiden, who was raiding the HQ building to retrieve brains belonging to children. He himself utilized a riot shield to confront Raiden, who utilized a UGT (unmanned guard tower) to hold off the unit to buy time for Doktor to hack into the (then-disabled) elevator system after the Blade Wolf UG accessed the elevator server. Raiden then proceeded to wipe out his unit, also managing to remove Herbert's left arm in the process.
