Tholav was an Andorian male (chan or thaan unspecified) Starfleet officer who served in the first half of the 24th century.
By 2344 he had advanced to the rank of commander and was serving on board the USS Enterprise-C as science officer and (apparently) first officer.[1] He died on Stardate 21096.4 during the battle at Narendra III. (TOS novel: Vulcan's Heart)

- ↑ Vulcan's Heart never directly stated Tholav was first officer, but he was one of only two named full commanders (the other being CMO Aristide), no other senior officer was introduced as first officer, and on occasions where Captain Garrett left the bridge, it was Tholav who took the center seat. This strongly implies that Tholav was XO in addition to his duties as science officer.
