Qomar

The Qomar were a civilization native to the planet Qomar, in the galaxy's Delta Quadrant.

History and specifics

The Qomar were a species of mathematicians; however, they had no concept of music. They were known for their xenophobia and their arrogance. By the 24th century, they had formed the Qomar Planetary Alliance.

In 2376, the USS Voyager made first contact with the Qomar after accidentally damaging one of their transports. (VOY episode: "Virtuoso")
