- The planet Agaron begins to negotiate an alliance with the Vulcans. The Vulcan Ministry of Security sends 109 surgically altered Vulcan operatives to Agaron to infiltrate various criminal organizations in order to topple them. However, Menos, Jossen, and seventeen other operatives do not return afterward.[2]
- Henry Archer starts suffering from Clarke's Disease.[3]
