Alternate timelines

23 February

In an alternate timeline created by Leonard McCoy when he saved Edith Keeler from being killed in a traffic accident in New York City in 1930, she went on to found the American Pacifist Movement, a large and powerful peace organization. On this date, President Franklin D. Roosevelt met with Keeler during a visit to New York City, where they discussed both the social issues of the day, as well as importance of maintaining America's neutrality toward the military conflicts then spreading through Europe. Due to the influence of Keeler's organization, the United States' entry into World War II was delayed until 1944.[5][6]
