Luda was an Akaali woman who lived during the late 32nd century.
Sometime before 3190, Luda was arrested and sentenced to life in prison for counting cards at a tongo club on Radvek V. In 3190, she was selected as an "Example" and left to die as Radvek V was due to be destroyed by the Dark Matter Anomaly, but she and three other "Examples" were evacuated by Michael Burnham and Cleveland Booker. Upon being evacuated, Luda and two of the other "Examples" requested political asylum from the United Federation of Planets. (DIS: "The Examples")
