- The USS Enterprise on a return flight via a time warp to the year 2267 begins to arrest its momentum with the use of "engineering brakes". Spock reported the breaking momentum at fifty years, forty, and then thirty, before being told by Captain James T. Kirk to cease his reports. (TOS: "Tomorrow is Yesterday")
