The Mayor (市長) is a playable character introduced in the Taiwanese game Rockman Gold Empire.

Archie Comics
The Mayor appears in the Mega Man comic book series by Archie Comics, where he is named Leonard Dorado. He is the mayor of Mega City. Leonard first appeared in issue #23, where he offers Mega Man the key to the city and declares the city will be renamed Mega City in Mega Man's honor.
When the worlds of Mega Man and Sonic the Hedgehog are merged with the Unity Engines in Worlds Unite, the mayor's government building is merged with a G.U.N. carrier, causing them to explode and apparently killing everyone inside, including Mayor Dorado and Team Dark. However, these events were later reversed by the actions of Xander Payne.
