Stegorus

Stegorus (ステゴラス, Sutegorasu) is the large Stegosaurus robot in Mega Man 7. It is mainly an enemy in Slash Man's stage, but it also appears in the third Wily Castle stage if the player took the high route. It shoots homing missiles from its guns and sends some of its back spikes at Mega Man.

Etymology

Its name is a clipping of "Stegosaurus".

• In Mega Man 8, various Stegorus toys appear in Clown Man's stage.
