IPC (I・P・C [1]), also known as IPC Inc., is an electronics, video game, and appliance company in the Mega Man Battle Network video game series. It also appears in the MegaMan NT Warrior anime series, where it is called BlazeQuest Games.
IPC is an acronym standing for Ijuin PET Company (伊集院ＰＥＴカンパニー)[2]. It is owned by Shuuseki Ijuin, the father of Eugene Chaud.
Game history
IPC a manufacturer of PErsonal Terminals and PET accessories among dozens of other electronics and appliances, and one of the five biggest companies in all of Electopia.[3] Because of the company's large income, IPC often sponsors lots of funds to scientists of SciLab with cutting edge PET technology as the return. IPC also served as the primary sponsor of the N1 Grand Prix in Mega Man Battle Network 3. It’s revealed in Mega Man Battle Network 5, that a company named Ubercorp is one of its competition.
IPC’s location only makes an appearance in the cellphone game, Rockman.EXE Phantom of Network.
Anime
In the MegaMan NT Warrior anime series, the company is known as BlazeQuest Games (as Chaud’s name is Chaud Blaze), and plays a much larger role than in the games. While still the manufacturer of PETs, it also develops video games and several other electronics, and is a main competitor of Yai Ayano’s company AyanoTech. BlazeQuest develops all of the new PETs and accessories seen in the series. Though Shuuseki is still the owner and CEO, Chaud is seen doing much of Blazequest’s paperwork and business dealings.
IPC is still around 200 years later during the era of Mega Man Star Force, and several products, notably Geo Stelar’s food materializer, bears the IPC logo.

- Because Enzan Ijuin’s name is changed in both the English versions of the video games (Eugene Chaud) and anime (Chaud Blaze), it is unknown what “IPC” stands for in English, however it is possible that Shuseki still bears the last name Ijuin, and Chaud has a different name for unknown reasons.[4]
- IPC may be named after IPC, a real world international trade association for the printed-board and electronics assembly industries. IPC may also be a nod to the computing terms inter-process communication and instructions per cycle.
