Yoth was one of the names invoked by denizens of the Cancerverse.[1]
Notes
- Yoth was a city created in "The Mound", by Zealia Bishop, ghostwritten by H. P. Lovecraft.
- Like other names invoked by the Cancerverse's denizens, seemingly deformations of original Cthulhu Mythos subjects (such as Kthl or Yot-Soter being seemingly stand-ins for Cthulhu and Yog-Sothoth), it is possible that Yoth is a reference to the planet Yith, another more famous creation of Lovecraft and home to the Great Race of Yith, rather an actual reference to Yoth.
- Yoth was only mentioned as part of "ftaghn" invocations, and it remains unclear whether it was a Many-Angled One, or another thing (curse, object, location, etc.).
