Slovenia

Slovenia is a country in Eastern Europe,^[1] bordered by Austria to the north, Hungary to the east, Croatia to the south, Italy to the northeast, and the Adriatic Sea to the east.^[2] Its capital city is Maribor.^[1] Millionaire Mister Singapore had some control over Slovenian powers, among other countries, and have them do his bidding.^[3]

For years, Old Man Brotzki, caleld Brotzki Senior, controlled organized crime in Maribor and possibly other areas, but he was often involved in a war against the Slovenian National Police Force, expensive in the form of bribes and still keeping a third of Brotzki's men in prison at any given time. When Brotzki finally died a very old man, officially due to a stroke, his sons Freddy and Bror Brotzki, collectively known as the Brotzki Brothers, took over. Freddy considered that the agreements his father had reached with the law were demeaning and refused to fulfill then and thus, he killed, skinned and hung several "uncooperative officers", keeping them visible during the funeral procession with the Brotzki family. The Brotzki Brothers immediately annexed a local farm to expand their operations to cover not only arms dealing but also human trafficking, by kidnapping the loved people of customers who failed to pay their loans, theoretically until the money could be returned. This attracted the attention of the Punisher (by then allied with the Hand), who travelled through Eastern Europe to kill the Brotzki Brothers. At that point, a criminal organization was targetting the Punisher by offering rewards for sightings of him via the Dark Web, and several people in Maribor collaborated with this. Initially believing that he was being harassed by Brotzki minions, the Punisher was however reluctant to shoot at kids (even when these kids' elders reprimanded the kids for not having killed the Punisher). Eventually finding a tablet in one of the people he had to defend from, the Punisher understood what was happening. The criminal cartel sent several agents against Punisher, including the Hood's men, Hydra agents, Jigsaw, the Ratgers, and others. Finding himself in a sudden war zone, and wanting to minimize civilian casualties, the Punisher (with his Hand allies) entered the Brotzki farm. The Hand captured Freddy, and they tied him to a machine gun, gagged, so that he'd be the first target for the intruders and, being forced to defend himself, he'd kill several of the Punisher's enemies before being killed himself. This plot worked, as the invaders believed they were shooting at the Punisher; and then the Punisher and the Hand fought their enemies in the Slovenian farm, eventually succeeding against them; the Punisher apparently killed Jigsaw, and the Hand found and murdered the woman arranging the Dark Web operation against the Punisher. The Punisher and the Hand possibly left Slovenia after that.^[1]
