History
The Serengeti was an ecological region in northern Tanzania, on the border with Kenya. It borders the east coast of Lake Victoria and the western edge of Mbangawi.
When young Ororo Munroe awakened power to control the weather, she traveled around Africa and used them to dispense justice and help people.[1] In the Serengeti Plains she was met by the Masai people who told her they have seen "the coming of the Goddess Ororo" in their dreams. She was at first confused, but then accepted this role. She settled in the small Uzuri village in Kenya, on the border with Tanzania. Ororo soon became the object of worship of the local tribes in the large area of Kenya and Tanzania, from the Serengeti Plains, to Ngorongoro, Lake Manyara and Mount Kilimanjaro. For her powers she was worshipped as the Goddess of Harvest and the Goddess of Storm for years.[2][3][4][5]See Also
