Palestine

Palestine was the name of the land of Israel during 135 CE, having been changed from Judea by Emperor Hadrian.

In the Modern Age, Palestine is composed of two separate territories:

  • Gaza: A thin strip of land, bordered at south-west by Egypt, at north-west by the Mediterranean Sea, and from north-east to south-east by Israel.
  • The West Bank: A territory bordered at south, west, and north by Israel, at east by Jordan.

Palestine and Israel are in conflict, which led to many violent military and terrorist events, along with local and international interventions.[1]

History

In the Gaza Strip, the Living Mummy was confronted by two members of the Israeli Defense Force, before wandering away into the arid wasteland.[2]
