Orun, the Great Beyond, was one of the God Realms, among the Inner Planes,[2] and a small "pocket" dimension adjacent to Earth, and the home of the Vodū beings who were were worshiped as gods by the natives of Africa.[1]
Various interdimensional nexuses between Orun and the Earth Realm exist throughout the African continent, including one near the ancient Yoruban city of Ifẹ̀ (located in modern-day Osun State, Nigeria).[1]
History
After the Asgardians were slain in a battle against the Celestials, the thunder god Thor traveled to Orun to request a portion of Buluku’s life force in order to revive his slain brethren.[6]
