Nuke was recalled from Nicaragua by the Kingpin.^[1]

Back when Bullseye was an agent for the CIA, he was instructed to train rebels fighting Sandinistas. Following his own ulterior motives, he took over control of a strip where Colombian drug smugglers would land their planes and cut a deal with them. Eventually, Punisher got wind of the situation and came to the strip to destroy Bullseye's operation and kill him. Though Bullseye quickly gained the upper hand on his opponent, he surrendered to the DEA agents who arrived at the scene as well.^[2]

Some time later, in a Nicaraguan temple, a young girl named Alejandra was chosen to become the next Ghost Rider.^[3] She then defeated the Servicer with a swarm of locusts that came out of her mouth.^[4] Her power eventually consumed everyone in the temple, and when Johnny and the Seeker reached a village just outside the temple, they were all caught in the explosion.^[5]

Later, somewhere in Nicaragua, Johnny Blaze found Mephisto and ordered him to give him a bike that he could fly into space.^[6]
