Minsk

Overview

Minsk is the capital and largest city of the Republic of Belarus, situated on the Svislach and Nyamiha rivers.

Events

Minsk is the birthplace of Vanguard and Darkstar. They were the children of Russian nuclear physicist Sergei Krylov (later, the "Presence"), Nikolai Krylenko and his twin sister Laynia Petrovna were taken from birth by the then-Soviet government to be trained as soldiers after their mutant natures manifested. Joining the KGB sponsored Soviet Super-Soldiers.^[1]

Ultimate Universe (Earth-1610)

In Minsk, Belarus, during Galactus' invasion, Tarleton reappeared along with a Gah Lak Tus cult composed of A.I.M. agents. When a portion of the Gah Lak Tus swarm arrived to his location, he managed to control it and make it and the innocents it merged into itself bond into the rests of Reed Richards' City of Tomorrow, creating a floating city.^[2]
