History
Malawi was a country in Africa bordering Tanzania to the north and northeast, Zambia to the west, and Mozambique to the east, south and southwest. It has had disputes with Tanzania over the their border, naturally formed by the meandinger Songwe River and the Lake Malawi (called "Lake Nyasa" in Tanzania). In recent times, this conflict has not been active.[1]
