History
The history of this reality was similar to Earth-199999 until the moment when Peggy Carter decided to stay in Project Rebirth's main operating room instead of going to the viewing booth. This caused other men present for observation to do the same, and as a result, Nazi spy Heinz Kruger detonated his explosive device before the procedure started, killing Dr. Abraham Erskine. Kruger then killed Colonel Phillips and seriously injured Steve Rogers with his gun, before being shot down by Agent Carter. Since Steve was in no condition to undergo the procedure, Peggy jumped into the Vita-Ray Chamber and did it herself, becoming the world's first Super Soldier.[1]
