History
Thor was banished from Asgard to Earth by his father Odin and, unaware of his past life, lived in the world of mortals as Dr. Donald Blake. He discovered Mjolnir disguised as a wooden cane and transformed back into Thor after striking it on the ground. As Thor, he encountered such villains as the Frost Giants, trolls, Midgard Serpent, Loki, Karnilla and the Destroyer.

- While working at the Ruby-Spears animation studio in the 1980s, Jack Kirby pitched a Thor animated series series based on the comics he drew. Although the project never moved forward, Kirby and Alfredo Alcala drew six Concept arts featuring Thor, Odin and the antagonists.
