This reality's history was presumably similar to the Prime Marvel Universe up to the point Galactus went mad and started ravenously consuming planets. When Doctor Doom and Reed Richards learned of this, Doom acted too fast and challenged Galactus with his Doom Titan, which would have worked against regular Galactus but not Galactus overflowing with energy from consumed planets. Doom lost and was left drifting in space, barely kept alive by his magic. Meanwhile, the others had acted too slow and Galactus ravaged most of the life in the universe.

Two years into his rampage, Galactus attacked a group of Celestials in order to steal their machine. Supercharged with the power of hundreds of planets, he slaughtered them and planned to use their device, which was like a bigger version of the Ultimate Nullifier, to reset the universe. The battle was witnessed by Valeria Richards, who found and restored Doctor Doom two days later.

Doom deduced Galactus' plan. Newly infused with Celestial blood and equipped with a suit of uru-vibranium armor powered by three Cosmic Cubes, Doom defeated Galactus' heralds, who were three Molecule Men, while Valeria sabotaged the machine. Unfortunately, she had to sacrifice herself to do it. Enraged, Doom battled Galactus while Uatu, Eternity, and the Living Tribunal watched.^[1]
