History
This reality is similar to the Ultimate universe with some features of Earth-616. In this universe, the Nazis were motivated by an extraterrestrial race called the Chitauri. To combat the Nazis, the Allied nations transformed Steve Rogers into Captain America. Captain America thwarted a plot to destroy Washington, but was frozen in the Atlantic in the process, the world believing him to be dead.
In Wakanda, the Chitauri visited the people there and declined an offer of peace, instead seeking to drain it of its vibranium supply. The Wakandans rose up and defeated the aliens, gaining advanced technology and a xenophobic view of the world.
In the 21st century, S.H.I.E.L.D. continue warring with the Chitauri in secret and monitor the superhumans of the world. Bruce Banner is the head of the super-soldier program, desperately trying to recreate the super-soldier serum to help him control the Hulk, a monstrous, greyish-green creature he transforms into when enraged. As far as the public is concerned, there is no connection between Tony Stark and Iron Man. Thor's claims to be the God of Thunder are widely panned, and is the pacifist leader of an eco-centric protest group. Hank Pym/Giant Man is the former head of the super soldier program and Janet Pym/Wasp is his wife. Captain America is awoken from his icy sleep and woken to lead Nick Fury's new team of superheroes the Avengers.
The Avengers defeat a Chitauri attack on the Triskellion and a violent rampage by the Hulk, who is imprisoned in an unbreakable room.[1]
Odin revealed to Thor that a Chitauri invasion was imminent due to the arrival of a massive space station, and Thor refused to leave the planet until he had saved it. The Avengers were formed again and begun a reluctant alliance with the Black Panther while a worldwide invasion took place. Iron Man and Giant Man destroyed the space station and wiped out the invaders, but Giant Man died during the conflict. Thor proved his divinity to the Avengers. The Avengers celebrated their victory and mourned their loss, with Rogers and Black Widow beginning a romance.[2]See Also
