History
Loki found the Infinity Stones, became Requiem and killed Thanos. Following these events, he passed the barriers of the Quarry of Creation and appeared in a place where the Stones are useless, but he was stomped by a Celestial and understood the horrors that he had done, so he tried to obtain the help of the future Wolverine, but the latter refused. Loki killed many people and now the future Wolverine accepted to travel in the past in order to prevent that Loki from gathering the Infinity Stones.[1]
