Reality 48 years in the future of Earth-616 to which the Avengers were transported by the Time Gem while in the midst of their brawl with Tony Stark. Even with the chaos surrounding them, Starbrand marveled at what he saw around him, with most of the newer architecture partially bioengineered, surrounded by self-sustaining city farms, floating weather control machines and a data field containing helobytes of knowledge, even seeing that the Moon has been colonized. Tony admit that perhaps he was wrong about misleading everyone and not telling them about the incursions, but insisted that the fact that there is a future proved that he was right and that whatever he and the Illuminati did ultimately worked.

The argument was interrupted by the appearance of the Avengers Union of this time. Star Brand order the Avengers to cease and desist, while also commenting that they were about a week early that they were being expected, a consequence of the now five decades older Hawkeye simply misremembering when they jumped into the future. Old Man Barton's reunion with his younger self and Steve was cut short as Hawkeye told the group that he needed to tell them two things; the first is that each jump into the future would last a little longer, with this first one being the shortest. He told them not to expect a warm welcome going forward, and whispered his second point of information to Captain America's ear only.

Old Man Barton then turns to Tony, firing an arrow that disabled his armor and proceeded to savagely beat him, telling him that he was doing so for all the people who died because of him, and all of those who lived through his actions. Old Man Barton revealed that the device implanted in Tony's hand, which served as an early warning system for the incursions, would pull him out of the temporal bubble he was caught in and allow him to make it back to his time. Old Man Barton revealed that he promised to make sure that Stark got home earlier than last time, because in their timeline he was too late to stop something from happening. Barton yelled at Tony that that he could go back now and stop it, but that he did not believe he would. The Time Gem suddenly reappears, and hurled the Avengers of Earth-616 422 years into their future.^[1]
