David Lloyd began working for Marvel UK in 1979, drawing back-up strips in Doctor Who Weekly/Monthly, co-creating the Special Executive with writer Alan Moore and then co-creating Night Raven with Steve Parkhouse for Hulk Comic. He also drew several instalments of the UK originated Hulk strip for Hulk Comic. Lloyd also worked for various other publishers, notably for Quality Communications (for whom he co-created V for Vendetta) and the science fiction anthology 2000AD, as well as DC Comics.
