Benatar

Following the destruction of the Milano,^[3] the Benatar was adopted as the new main spacecraft used by the Guardians of the Galaxy for interstellar flights.^[2]

The Guardians flew in the Benatar to answer a distress signal from the Asgardians' Statesman. Unfortunately, the Guardians arrived after the Statesman had been destroyed by Thanos. They accidentally stumbled upon Thor's unconscious body, and took him aboard. After deducing Thanos' next course of action in his search for the Infinity Stones, Thor, Rocket and Groot left in a pod headed to Nidavellir while the other Guardians used the Benatar to travel to the Collector's Museum in Knowhere. After failing to confront Thanos in Knowhere and losing Gamora, the remaining Guardians flew the Benatar to Titan in hopes of finding Thanos and Gamora there.^[2]

Following their defeat by Thanos, only Iron Man and Nebula were left alive. Trying to travel back to Earth, the pair took the Benatar, but after several days they ran out of fuel, food, and water. Thankfully they were rescued by Captain Marvel and brought safely to Earth. After locating Thanos, the surviving Avengers, Guardians, and Captain Marvel flew to the Garden and killed Thanos. During the next five years, Nebula and Rocket continued to use the Benatar as their primary ship.^[4]

During the "Time Heist", the Benatar was shrunk in size using Pym Particles. After dropping off Nebula and War Machine on Morag, the Benatar's autopilot flew Black Widow and Hawkeye to Vormir.^[4]

Following the battle with Thanos' army, the Guardians were joined by Thor abroad the Benatar as they continued crusading across the universe.^[4] When Thor parted ways with the Guardians, he was kind enough to "give" the Benatar to Star-Lord.^[5]

The Benatar from an unknown reality was pruned by the Time Variance Authority and transferred to the Void^[6]
